    What is the new stock rate?
    The new stock rate is a flat rate of $4.75.
  • When is the stock rate changing?
    The new rate will go into effect after the market close on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.
  • Who is affected by this new stock rate?

    The new stock rate will apply to new customers who complete an application on or after 10/1/2013 and fund an account on or after 1/1/2014.
  • Are there any changes to options rates?

    No, there are no changes to our options pricing. We will continue to offer two competitive rates that give options traders the flexibility to choose the rate that works best for them.
  • Current Customers

    As a current customer, what do I need to do in order to maintain my current stock rate?

    No action is required to continue getting your current rate.
  • Will I keep my existing stock rate if I open any additional accounts in the future?

    Any additional accounts opened by current customers who maintain at least one funded account with OptionsHouse will continue to receive their current stock rate.
  • New Customers

    What if I’ve already started an application? Does my stock rate change?

    Your stock rate will not change provided you complete your application prior to 10/1/2013 and fund your account prior to 1/1/2014.
  • What if I’ve completed an application, but haven’t yet funded my account? Does my stock rate change?

    Your stock rate will not change provided you complete your application prior to 10/1/2013 and fund your account prior to 1/1/2014.
  • What if I completed an application after October 1st, but fund prior to January 1, 2014?

    New customers who complete an application after 10/1/2013 but fund prior to 1/1/2014, will receive the new stock rate of $4.75 per trade.
